The Level 2 Upskilling Door Supervisor course is designed for individuals who already hold a current Security Industry Authority (SIA) license. Specifically, it is a top-up course that builds on your existing training and allows you to become a licensed door supervisor.

Who Needs This Certification?

If you currently hold a valid SIA Security Guard license, Close Protection license, Cash and Valuables in Transit license, CCTV Operations (Public Space Surveillance) license, or Vehicle Immobiliser license, you are eligible for the Level 2 Upskilling course.

This top-up training provides the additional education you need in order to apply for a frontline Door Supervisor license. Once you complete the course and pass the exams, you can submit your application to the SIA.

  • Responding to emergencies or criminal activities
  • Recording incidents in a logbook

Door supervisors are employed at various sites, such as pubs, clubs, casinos, concerts, and private parties. The Level 2 certification qualifies you to work in these roles across the UK.
